The Department of Risk Management and Insurance provides General Liability, Auto and Property insurance programs that cover the University and its employees for losses that arise out of the university’s operations. The insurance programs are managed by the Department of Risk Management and retains a third party administrator to investigate and resolve claims on behalf of the university

The Department of Risk Management responds to various liability exposures, including but not limited to automobile, general/premises and hospital exposures.  Upon learning of an incident that could result in a claim against the University or the Hospitals, promptly immediately to notify Risk Management via link https://adminapps.usc.edu/aims/risk
